1. Why are the products so expensive?

We do everything by hand in our home workshop, and we want to do a good job so that you are satisfied with the end result. Besides that, we prefer domestic and responsible materials and it is not always very cheap for us. We also have to pay taxes, VAT and mandatory insurance for our work. So in practice, you support high-quality Finnish handicrafts, and enable us to act responsibly and transparently.

2. Where are the products manufactured and where do you ship them?

Musical instruments and other handmade items are made by the entrepreneur herself in a small home workshop in Pori. Images for t-shirts, hoodies and other clothes are also designed there. The clothes are finally printed in Latvia and sent from there to the customer, but only after the order has been placed, which results in less fabric waste than in the traditional clothing industry. We deliver worldwide.

3. What payment methods can I use?

You can pay us by card, or via Klarna, Paypal, Google Pay or Shop Pay.

4. How much does the postage cost and who delivers my order?

The delivery price depends on the products you order and the country you live in.. You can see the shipping price on the checkout page after you have added products to the shopping cart. Orders are delivered by your local Post office.

5. Can I change or cancel my order?

We can change or cancel your order if it has not yet been shipped. Contact info@vainajala.com as soon as possible and tell us your order number.

Products made just for you, such as drums or talharpas, do not have the right of cancellation anymore after the product has started to be manufactured.

6. Can I return the products I ordered?

You can return any product within 14 days of receiving your order. However, the return is at your own expense, and shipping costs are not refunded. Please contact info@vainajala.com for more information before sending us anything. Products made just for you, such as drums or talhrpas, cannot be returned or refunded.

7. I didn't receive all the products I ordered?

It could be that you ordered two different types of products that will be shipped separately, or the package was too large to ship together. Each package gets its own tracking number, so you can always see where the other part of the package is. However, if you feel that we have forgotten something about your order, please contact us at info@vainajala.com.

8. The product I ordered is defective

We strive to ensure that the products you receive are free of errors. However, if you receive defective products or incorrect delivery, please contact info@vainajala.com as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after it has been delivered to you. If a refund is requested, we will process the refund for you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of the date on which we confirmed that you are entitled to a refund for the defective product. Please note that variations in handmade products or natural products such as animal horns are not errors as it is an expected result in handmade products and natural products.
